Leeds Pet Guide is a Pet Directory based in Leeds - West Yorkshire - United Kingdom. Where on moving to Leeds several years ago I realised that there was not a common ground for local pet owners to source businesses  near to them. For instance Vets, Groomers, Animal Rescue Centres, Dog Walkers, Dog Sitters, Pet Shops, to name but a few.

So I created Leeds Pet Guide for Pet Businesses in the area to add their details. On receving their submissions I then publish their pet business and they get an entire FREE page for pet owners in Leeds and West Yorkshire to source whatever it is they need.

With my time limited because I run other websites, I am hoping our Pet Directory -  Leeds Pet Guide will be popular and can tick by nicely, relying on the support from other pet owners such as you and myself, to add their content in support of pet owners.

I too have pets, as I am sure you will already know as I write lots of blogs about them. You can see some photographs of them on my sites too. I am hoping Leeds Pet Guide will become a firm favourite to other like minded pet people, where we can exchange news about what is going in Leeds for pet owners.

For instance do you know of a  pet friendly pub near to your home or have you discovered a great new place to explore whilst walking the dogs? Are you a new rescue centre in Leeds that needs to get noticed. You would like local residents to know all about you so that you can quickly find new homes for cats, dogs and whatever other animals you rescue.

Rescue Centres all over the UK, are struggling so much these days, what with people losing their homes due to reccession and animals having to be given up for lack of pet friendly landlords. Not to mention the barbaric side of things, with animal abuse, neglect and cruelty reported to be on the increase. Heartbreaking!

Some people have no hearts and there should be stricter punishments for anybody who intentionally sets out to harm a defenseless animal. Shame on you!

I am appealing to all local pet related businesses in Leeds and West Yorkshire to add your details to Leeds Pet Guide. We are getting lots of visitors but enough listings. Which is my own fault as I have not marketed the brand and let a lot of you know about this brand new website. And as mentioned above, this is only down to lack of time. But I am hoping we, as pet owners can all spread the word and make good use of Leeds Pet Guide to help make our lives easier.
